Service at the KCIX

The Kansas City Internet eXchange offers the following services free of charge:

1.  Dedicated Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet port on one of the KCIX switches
2.  Access to the KCIX members page with various tools and statistics
3.  Access to the KCIX members mailing list
4.  MLPA Route Server

The following are the physical connections available:

1.  100BaseTX (RJ45, Copper)
2.  1000BaseT (RJ45, Copper)
3.  1000BaseSX (SC, MM Fiber)
4.  1000BaseLX (SC, SM Fiber)

Future planned free services include:

1.  10 Gigabit Ethernet Connections
2.  WDM Connections

KCIX does not provide Hosting, Colocation or Local Loop services.
